Shiney's life is an open book

Suave sophistication coupled with a broad smile, and an amazing comfort quotient, and it is easy to know why actor Shiney Ahuja doesn���t fail to impress ever.
Talking about his soon-to-be-released film, he says, ���It is about inter-personal relationships ��� the love of a father for his daughter. It is all about basic human emotions.��� Apart from this, he is also working for Har Pall.The film, which will release in October, will see Shiney paired with Preity Zinta for the first time.
���This is a romantic comedy, and I am really looking forward to it. I have done a lot of serious roles. Now, I want to do comedies and different stuff,��� says an eager Shiney. Any more films? After some probing, he reveals, ���I should remain tight-lipped about my future projects, but all I can say is that I am up for a biopic and an action film.���
It is impossible not to mention Bhool Bhulaiyaa where Akshay Kumar stole the show. Did he feel Akshay was given the main role? Shiney says politely, ���If Akshay had been the protagonist, the film would have begun with a shot of Akshay as an established doctor receiving a call from his friend asking him to come and cure his wife.��� Point taken.
At a time when more and more actors are exploring areas such as production, direction, television and other things, does he have any such plans? Shiney smiles and replies, ���Thanks, but not right now. I am an actor and I want to stick to that. I will go with the flow.��� So, does that mean a complete no or just not right now? ���Not right now,��� clarifies he.
His film Kal ��� Yesterday And Tomorrow is popular with the youngsters. But, it failed to make an impact at the box office. So, does he think he lost out a bit there?
���Not at all. First of all, it was a film that I did for a friend, and secondly I did my best. And, I liked it a lot. It���s all about friends.��� This brings us to the obvious question, which is, about his friends. ���I have more friends outside the industry and there is nothing intentional about it. My life is an open book. It is completely transparent. I don���t believe in hiding anything,��� says he. Then, why is it that we don���t hear a lot about his family? ���Well, I have a nine-month-old daughter for whom I absolutely don���t get time. My wife isn���t really a public person. So, she stays away from the buzz,��� says Shiney.
In the coming months, Shiney will attempt to shine with quite a few films. We hope that the sparkle lasts for a long time.
